The Coven

In the fall of 2014, Lady Morgana Brighid was inspired to reach out to the Pagan community. She had met so many new practitioners who expressed confusion about how to begin their path. The abundance of information available these days can seem like a chore to filter through, which is frustrating when you’re trying to build a solid practice and create a foundation for your life’s path. After almost two decades on her own path, Morgana decided to begin mentoring others, helping them build a base of knowledge to expand upon and create their own spiritual practice.

Having begun in the Wiccan way of studying for at least a year and a day before dedication, Morgana decided to format the course around that time frame. As Maiden’s Circle grew, it seemed logical that a traditionally structured coven should follow. What better way to know whether a coven will be successful and balanced than to study the same curriculum? So, Lady Morgana decided early on that Maiden’s Circle would serve as a teaching coven.

The Academy is here to guide Seekers toward a deep, fulfilling connection through an Eclectic Pagan practice and to bring women together to honor the Divine, with an emphasis on the Goddess. Maiden’s Circle Coven uses a traditional structure, with a less traditional practice. Members are called Initiates or Priestesses.

We follow the basic tenet of the Wiccan Rede, “an it harm none, do as ye will,” but are not strictly Wiccan practitioners. We come together as Sisters under the Divine Mother with open, loving hearts and in perfect trust. We continue our studies after initiation, learning the mysteries and working together to alter our lives and the lives of others for the better.  We share our journey, build strong friendships, and work to serve the Goddess.  We look forward to sharing and learning with each of you!

Blessed Be
